The wiki says everyone is 15-16 in the present-day and Menma died 10 years ago, but they seem way too mature to be only 5-6 years old at the time of the accident. On the other hand, Wikipedia notes that Menma died 5 years ago: The novel, chapter 2 page 17, states that five years have passed since Menma's accident.
